The strength of this book to a teacher in Japan is that it introduces new vocabulary to students and then they are asked to write sentences using the new words. Generally Japanese students find it a pain to write sentences but this apparently is a painless method. The new vocabulary is recycled by enjoyable crosswords. The option is also there for the teacher to go further in the explanation of grammatical terms - if that is relevant to the class.
Good stuff Richard!

Thank you for the positive comments about Mind Your Words. Student feedback at the end of this year has also been extremely positive. It seems that students genuinely found the material enjoyable and useful. As the author, and as a teacher, this gives me a deep sense of satisfaction. _________________ Richard Gabbrielli
