You may upload files to us. The address is:
ftp://intercompress.com/incoming/
Macintosh:
Using Netscape Navigator:
1. Type address in Location
- You will be greeted with:
Current Directory is /incoming
up to higher level directory
2. Under "File" menu of Navigator, select "Upload File"
from there on standard Mac operation.
Note: Once the file is uploaded, you will not be able to see it. Please do not upload it more than once. (if the "saving file" message box was displayed, then the file is there.)
* Microsoft Explorer for Macintosh does not support file uploads. (Go figure!) Use fetch.
If you don't have it, go to (http://fetchsoftworks.com). Version 3.0.3 is available free of charge. Newer versions have a shareware fee.
Using Fetch:
1. Under "File" menu, select "New Connection"
2. In "Host:", enter: intercompress.com
3. In "Directory:" enter: incoming
4. Select "Put File"
from here, standard Mac operation to select the file you want to upload. Once the upload is complete, you WILL NOT be able to see the file. That is OK. Do not upload the file mor than once.
Windows:
Using Explorer (Version 5 or later)
1: Go to: ftp://intercompress.com/
- You will be greeted with two folders (or directories); "incoming" and "pub"
2. Select: "incoming"
- You will be greeted with: "permission denied" (as a folder name or text block in the window). That's Good.
Now, use standard Windows procedures to copy a file into this directory.
